tgif. i'm looking forward to sleeping in tmr morning. this week has been crazily tired and stressful at work. just a few random thoughts..last night was the first time i sat down for dinner with my brother and mum on a weekday since i've been back. simply because its usually 8pm by the time i'm home after work and everybody would have eaten. it feels good again to sit at the coffee table and eat as a family. the familiarity with everything since i'm back doesn't make me feel like i've been gone for 6 months. everything is still about the same. and i'm slowly getting back into the routine of being back in Singapore. boring with a few perks, back in my comfort zone. i still miss the time in the States caz there's always something new to see and do. and life is all too mundane here. i like to shuffle my songs on my ipod. because different songs reminds me of different groups of friends and memories, and some of these songs brings back memories which i otherwise would have forgotten. even all the way til pri and sec sch. some of those times i wish could be on repeat forever. i enjoy the walk from my office to the bus stop. maybe caz i work in the industrial area, which means all the buildings are pretty short. gives me a perfect view of the sky. sometimes i see the sun and moon in the sky together. and those are the times i always miss you most. you're miles and miles away. wonder whether you see the same thing i see now. wonder whether similar thoughts ever come to your mind. wonder what you'll be doing. sometimes it gets emotional and challenging. but i tell myself to be strong, just the way you are.. |
