one of my childhood friend is moving back to hk in 3 weeks. i'm so jealous of him. but at the same time, i'm so happy for him. it's been more than a dream for him since young. and he finally got into the course he wanted there.
he just uploaded a whole bunch of photos of us when we were younger and looking at our photos just brought back a lot a lot of memories. the whole bunch of about 8 of us, all fr hk, grew up together. i remember the weekends when we were younger that we would play at each others' homes. chinese new years were spent together because we all had nowhere to go. the times we would play "catching" and hide&seek in church until our parents had to pull us into the car when it's time to go home.
as we grew older, we grew apart. each had our own friends in school and we saw each other less. 2 of those whom i was closest to migrated to the States 6 years ago. 1 went back to hk. nowadays, i hardly even see them anymore except during chinese new year. we don't even talk to each other then caz we'll all just be busy doing our own stuff.
but i'll always remember those times good old times man. they, who made up a bulk of my childhood.
