Spent my weekend at San Antonio, at my buddy's place. This is the 2nd time i stayed over at an American's home and their hospitality never fails to amaze me. Her parents treated us to dinner and her mum even made an apple pie. it was so delicious man.Fiesta Carnival. nothing special. just overpriced food and performances. it's just a pity that we missed the biggest carnival which was suppose to happen the following day/s. Six Flags. O M G. it's been yearsss since i've been on a roller coaster. and it was awesome!! i was so scared initially but getting off it totally woke me up. i felt as if i've missed out on so much fun. suddenly, i can't wait for orlando! but the crowds at six flags spoiled everything. so we didn't do many rides which was kinda disappointing. NBA match. spurs vs jazz. my first time watching a full basketball match and it was life! how cool is that. just can't believe how many people go to such games, considering that it was near the end of the season and not much of a big game. i thought it was going to be boring initially but surprisingly, i enjoyed it. time here is running out. there's still so many things i want to do! Barton Springs. Kayaking at the Lake. Go bat-watching at sunset. Taking the train at Zilker park. Museums. Cycling. UT tower. Dallas/fort worth. Houston. etc etc etc. 1 last month here. it's really time to make full use of all my weekday evenings and weekends man. studying can wait til next semester back in nus. decide on your priorities. and stick to them. as long as you can answer to yourself, there's no need to compare. it's your life. really? hmmm. |
