the 2 days have been rather eventful. had kpmg open day yesterday and marketing interview with a managing director today, in addition to our not very delightful experience at the red light district. dawned upon me how shallow and naive i've been. sheltered and pampered.
the kpmg session brought back some memories about the interview i had there last year. oh wells, it will be my dream to get into one of the big4s. sounds much harder to me then what many say. i know the long hours and initial shitty pay but the experience i'll get is priceless. somewhere over the rainbow..
walking around the red light district was frightening although it was in bright daylight. it was really out of curiosity. walked pass many brothels and hawker centres, saw illegal gambling dens, illegal gatherings and many many dirty old men. felt really really really uncomfortable until i was begging my friend to leave. it's going to be my first and last time ever stepping into those filthy streets. its disgusting.
