it was a draw. 1-1. we were lucky and it was a tough fight. next match against MI, we'll do much better.
taking too long to warm up, not communicating with my defender properly, lousy passes and not putting my stick all the way down further was my downfall.
and i finally understood the need for supporters. its damn irritating esp when you're defending the opponents and having their supporters cheer so loud. having someone cheer gives me the extra energy to stretch out even when i was losing the chase to block the shot.
and i just love the sound of hearing the ball from the opponent hit my stick or body and knowing that i just blocked a crucial pass or shot. i don't care how many bruises or blueblacks i get from this, but knowing that it was a shot well blocked is all that matters.
