18 of us. remembered starting out in March, so clueless about real floorball. kampong floorball was what we played. chao kuay teow was what we did. lousy were we. so unsure of what was coming our way.4 months of training. without any proper courts. without any boards. without any goals. we improved so much. coming a long long way. remembering all those traning times at the D-court in sch, in NUS, in AES, in Keming. passing, shooting, defending, attacking etc. remembering PT, running 8 rounds den the 600m sprints. remembering all those team dinners together. remembering all those times camwhoring. remembering all those times talking and gossiping and laughing like mad hyenas. remembering fighting and playing during our first and subsequent frenlies. remembering getting excited before our matches. remembering all the team talks and lessons we had on game play. remembering kaobei-ing those refs and trying our best not to scream at their lousy referee-ing. remembering encouraging each other throughout the match, keeping our spirits up and not giving up on anyone all the way til the end. remembering everything. memories are made of these. now after our first nationals, the same 18 of us and of caz siva emerge so much stronger than before. although we didn't reach our goal, but we fought hard, played hard. yupps, and i know the strongest player would still always be dere caz He would never leave us nor forsake us. go nj flooball! (: now that natls are over, its back to yfc. its in 10days and its pissing me off. so much work to do. so many things to prepare. haii. but no hard work = no success. go go go, its only 10 more days. haa. |
